Since our recent email to subscribed parents, we have had a wonderful wave of interest with some people asking for something they can share with their friends or groups of people who have never heard of this approach before. Please share this page with anyone who may be interested.

Grow Foundation is excited to announce a possibility of running a very special course in Australia, in early 2013, designed for parents of children with special needs.

The Institutes For The Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP) is an organisation based in Philadelphia, helping families all over the world to help their own children with conditions like developmental delay, cerebral palsy and down syndrome. IAHP runs a week-long course, called “What To Do About Your Brain Injured Child”, which trains parents to help their own children at home. This unique, empowering and life-changing course is delivered in centres around the world, but has never before been held here in Australia.

Grow Foundation is proposing to hold this event in Melbourne and is currently seeking expressions of interest. Clearly, the event being brought closer to home will bring this invaluable training within reach for many Australian families for whom the distance has been too great. But this is no small production and in order to make it possible we have a minimum number of seats we would have to fill.

If you and/or your partner would be interested in attending, please do let us know ASAP. If someone you know would be interested in attending, please feel free to share this information with them. If you need to read more about this course or about some of the results children are achieving through this approach, visit www.growfoundationforkids.org or www.iahp.org.

For those outside Australia, visit www.iahp.org for information about courses held in USA, Italy, Singapore and other countries.

We very much look forward to hearing from you. And if you are interested in helping us in any way, please do get in touch.
